Access to the website Costa Rica Trade, located in San Jose, Costa Rica, implies the user’s acceptance of the rules of use that are established for the same, as well as the acceptance of the content in the clause pertaining to the applicable intellectual property rights and the Privacy and Security Policies. The user should refer to the specific conditions that are established for the access and use of the determined services within the website of Costa Rica Trade.
Access to the Site is free and does not constitute a commercial, contractual, or professional relationship of any kind between the users and PROCOMER.
These terms and conditions are applicable to all the users of the Site. Nevertheless, in case new sections are included in the Site in the future, which provide specific services, the Promoter may include them in this document as an addition.

Data Collection and Use
The privacy and security Policy of the Promoter applies to the gathering and use of the data that you provide to us through our Website; this data will only be used by the Promoter to fulfill its purposes.
The Foreign Trade Promotion Board of Costa Rica uses automated systems for the detection and prevention of cyber-attacks, minimizing the possibility of incurring damages or alterations in the data available on the Website. The systems allow us to generate reports and logs of prohibited access from and to our website.
The information will be used for the purposes for which it is requested. The web transaction systems are housed in equipment protected by a firewall and as such there is access protection against hackers. Additionally, the systems have authentication mechanisms that ensure that the information will not be accessible by other non-authorized users. Furthermore, there are backup mechanisms to ensure that the data is not lost in the case of a catastrophe.
There will be periodic reviews and updates made to the updateable data that you provide through the website.
The Privacy and Security Policy of the Foreign Trade Promotion Board of Costa Rica was updated on December 16, 2016. It may be periodically changed, and in such case, the updated policy will be announced on the Website.
In consideration of the user’s agreement with the Terms and Conditions contained herein, the Foreign Trade Promotion Board of Costa Rica will issue an access key (for the sections that require one), which is personal and non-transferrable.

Declarations which may be considered extremist, hateful, or racially offensive.

Material which contains language or images that may be considered vulgar or obscene.

The site contains links to sites outside of the domain of the Foreign Trade Promotion Board of Costa Rica. The content of these sites is the responsibility of their respective titleholders, and the Promoter does not guarantee nor approve of said content.
Intellectual and Industrial Property
The logo, name, brand, design, and all graphics which identify the Promoter within the site, belong to the Promoter. The use, reproduction, copying, or redistribution of these without the written permission of PROCOMER is prohibited.
