At UCIMED we prepare doctors who will make a difference. The degree is completed in 5 and a half years. We are the only private university in the Central American region with the Kaplan learning tool, which allows students to apply the acquired knowledge and analytical skills. We also have the Simulation Center and the UCIMED Hospital, which are invaluable tools that support our students' learning. Our medical degree has the international accreditation of the WFME (World Federation for Medical Education), which translates into greater training opportunities abroad for our students. We also have uninterrupted accreditation from SINAES (National Higher Education Accreditation System) since 2003, so our University has more successful accreditation processes over time than any other University.
