Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services
System to optimize predictive maintenance of equipment in hospital environments. This system combines the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to ensure maximum operational efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, and improve patient safety.
Real-Time Monitoring through IoT:
IoT Sensors: Next Curve can install IoT sensors on critical medical equipment to constantly monitor their status and performance. These sensors would collect data on equipment usage, operating parameters, environmental conditions, and signs of wear or malfunction (e.g., temperature, vibration, pressure, energy consumption, among other variables).
Connectivity: Supply, integration, and management of a secure network to transmit the collected data in real-time to IoT Central, a centralized data management platform. This network would be completely independent of the client’s networks, thus avoiding delays due to security and permission issues.
Predictive Analysis with AI:
Machine Learning Models: Implementation of machine learning algorithms to analyze the collected data and predict potential failures before they occur. These models would be trained with maintenance histories, manufacturer specifications, and failure records to identify patterns and early warning signs.
Notifications and Alerts: Automated notification system to alert technical staff about maintenance predictions, enabling proactive intervention. Alerts can be sent via email, SMS, and other means.
Inventory Management with RFID:
RFID Tags on Equipment: Placement of RFID tags on all critical medical equipment to facilitate precise location tracking within the hospital and real-time inventory management.
RFID Readers: Installation of RFID readers at strategic points to track the movement and usage of equipment, improving internal logistics and ensuring availability when needed.
Asset Geolocation:
GPS Modules on Equipment: Placement of GPS modules on all critical medical equipment that require and allow it.
Monitoring and Notifications: Use of a management platform to facilitate precise location tracking inside and outside the hospital, and alert in case of possible theft or unauthorized movement through text messages, emails, and even sound or visual alerts at strategic points.
Centralized Management Platform:
User-Friendly Interface: IoT Central is a software platform with an intuitive interface for technical and administrative staff to monitor equipment status, receive alerts, view predictive analysis reports, and manage inventory.
Integration with Hospital Systems: IoT Central has the capability to integrate with other hospital systems, such as electronic medical records (EMR) and asset management systems, for a cohesive workflow and enhanced efficiency.
