This coffee is the best of each harvest. It is 100% Arabica coffee from the Catuai variety. During the milling process it is water-washed and sun-dried. Its cup profile has a tasting score of 87 points, with organoleptic qualities such as: fresh mint and citric aromas, brilliant acidity and a light and solid body. Description Costa Rican coffee produced and packed for Café Cultura® with the highest standards of quality and traceability. Bean origin: Strictly Hard Bean (SHB). Presentation: whole or ground bean from 340g onwards. Bean humidity: 11 % to 12 %. Free of foreign odors. Elevation: between 1.400m - 1.800m m.a.s.l. Roast: medium.

Organic Coffee

The most traditional varieties are Caturra and Catuai and more recently the hybrids of Esperanza and Cento America due to their good adaptation to the shadow and their resistance to plagues in general. The coffee plantations grow at 800 to 1600 meters above sea level and their beans are classified as category of Medium Grown Atlantic (MGA): hard and of middle size.
