GUIPIPÍA PEABERRY GOURMET COFFEE

Arabica species from the Tarrazú Region, fragrance and floral aroma of coffee flower; the process is honey. The medium roast with descriptor of dehydrated red berries and a silky aftertaste; medium body and high acidity, citrus as orange. Its balance is exquisite between its fine acidity and delicate citrus. It has a special condition: the round seed concentrates better its flavor and caramelization. Only one flower ovary is fertilized what causes the seed to obtain round characteristics for developing alone in the fruit, achieving superior hardness and density conditions that allows it to be kept in the roaster for longer obtaining less bitter coffee. All packaging has degassing valves to protect quality. They come in 1k or 340grs presentations; whole grain or ground. The company is willing to work private label.

Double Washed Coffee

Double Lavado Coffee is a specialty product whose main differentiating attribute is its high but very pleasant acidity, originating from the mechanical washing process of the mucilage as well as its subsequent rest in clean water or a second wash. This process in essence allows to enhance the floral flavors and the cleanliness of the cup. The careful selection of the fruits to be harvested and the artisanal process of beneficiation allowed us to achieve quality recognition as the # 32 place in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence competition in 2017.

Honey Coffee

Honey Coffee is a specialty product whose main differentiating attribute is its complex flavors, originating from the impregnation of mucilage and its fermentation in coffee seeds. This process in essence increases the sweetness of the drink as well as its body. The careful selection of the fruits to be harvested and the artisanal milling process allowed us to achieve quality recognition as the # 7 place in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence competition in 2019.

Natural Coffee

Café Natural is a specialty product whose main differentiating attribute is its complex flavors and intense fruitiness, originating from the fermentation of the coffee beans as a whole. This process in essence increases the fruity flavors of the drink as well as its body, maintaining a clean cup. The careful selection of the fruits to be harvested and the artisanal milling process allowed us to achieve quality recognition as the # 13 place in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence competition in 2019.

Coffee

Green coffee, of different varieties like Typica, Catuai, Villalobos, Geisha, Milenio grown in our farm located in Santa Maria de Dota, Tarrazu region. The farm located in Vara Blanca de Dota, with an area of 7 hectares in production at an altitude from 1800 meters above sea level to 2000 meters above sea level. We offer three processes of processing, washed, honey and natural with very different characteristics in aromas and flavors.

Organic Coffee

Lecanto harvests, processes and markets organic or agrochemical-free products. The organic coffee from the West with a very good cup, so our main product is organic coffee, but within the farm and store we sell flours, grains, seeds, spices, honey, jellies, vegetables, vegetables and tubers . Some of them in bulk products, in order to reduce the use of single-use plastic. The Lecanto farm produces 100% organic coffee, of the Arabica species, with varieties such as Obata, Catigua and San Isidro, so it guarantees a good production and excellent cup. In addition, the soil is of volcanic origin, which benefits the grain in a good acidity, body and aroma. We process all of our coffee, since we have our own benefit, we have micro batches, in honey process, we provide a sweet taste, in addition to requiring less water consumption.

Baby Sloth Coffee

The Baby Sloth Coffee is a first quality Villa Sarchí honey process, with an SCA score of 86+, medium roast, citrus and caramel aroma with an excellent cup where shades of orange and sugar cane stand out. Its sober, elegant and modern packaging, in a 340 gram (12 oz) presentation, is extremely attractive to locals and foreigners.
